4. Who we share data with
- Netlify hosts this website. Forms go directly to Brevo. Netlify is based in the United States; the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Pushover (United States) delivers internal notifications to our team's smartphones. For a visit this is a short notification without a name: the page visited, where you came from (e.g. Google) and the device type. When you send the booking or newsletter form, the notification also contains the details you enter (name, email address, phone number and message), so we can respond quickly. No cookies. During your visit your browser temporarily remembers (sessionStorage) that the notification was sent.
- Meta Platforms Ireland (Facebook/Instagram), only if you accept cookies: the Meta pixel measures which ads work and helps us show you relevant ads. See cookies.
- Brevo (France) stores your contact details and sends our newsletter.
- Artists, technicians or suppliers, only as far as needed to carry out your booking or event.
- Our accountant, and authorities where required by law.
5. How long
- Requests without follow-up: up to 2 years.
- Client data: as long as you are a client and up to 5 years after the last assignment.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by law.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies
This website only uses cookies with your consent, which we ask for with a banner on your first visit. If you click Accept, we load the Meta pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook/Instagram), which sets cookies (including _fbp, kept for up to 90 days) to measure which ads work (e.g. a booking request or newsletter sign-up) and to show you relevant ads. Meta may process data outside the EEA, protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you decline, nothing is loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage, key ahog_consent) and you can change it at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server. More on how Meta uses data: Meta privacy policy.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its use, and request your data in a common format. Send your request to info@ahouseofgems.com; we reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.
